The Quadra Island RCMP are seeking the public's assistance to locate a vessel stolen from Whaletown on Cortez Island.

Police were informed on June 11th, 2024, that a grey 2022 Kingfisher 2725 Weekender with twin Yamaha 150 Hp outboards had been taken from a dock in the 900 block of Thunder Rd in Whaletown.

BRAZEN THEFT FILE: 2024-4274
April 03, 2024

STORY

On April 3, 2024, at 1930 hours, two parties were involved in stealing a 2013 grey Mirage XCalibur Cargo trailer bearing BC plate 35596U, (VIN 5M3BE2220D1052605), that had been parked in the Wei Wai Kum Net loft parking lot located at 2355 Spit Road, Campbell River, BC.

Inside the trailer is a grey 2003 Harley Davidson Motorcycle bearing BC plates W14002 (VIN 5HD1FCW443Y612519) with a distinctive eagle painted above the headlight.

The trailer also contained fishing tackle & rods; power tools; work benches; Kubota Diesel Generator amongst other items.

SUSPECT VEHICLES

A black GMC Sierra pickup truck has the trailer hooked up and exits the parking lot toward the Highway. A grey/beige Ford pickup truck follows behind. No front license plates on either truck.
